It should be recalled that two months ago, Father Adeyi, the vicar of the Otukpo Diocese was kidnapped by unknown gunmen but was never released in spite of the payment of the sum of two million naira as ransom.
He was never found even though the Benue State Government made an offer of N5 Million to anyone who could supply information on his whereabout until his body was discovered at the back of the LGEA Secretariat at Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area.
This is indeed a sad day for Benue.
