1) Robert Downey Junior, $80 million: With Iron Man 3 making over $1 billion, the 50 year old earned $30 million more than the highest paid female star. It's now been reported that Downey Jr is set to make $200 million for the next two Avengers movies.
2) Jackie Chan, $50 million: Dragon Blade may not have been released in the US, but the deal Chan did on the film is said to have earned him $10 million, due to its box-office success in China. His branded merchandise deals also helped increase his earnings.
3) Vin Diesel, $47 million: The success of the latest Fast and Furious which made $1.5 billion at the box office globally , helped the star earn $47 million.
4) Bradley Cooper, $41.5 million: With his role of the talking raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy and his part in American Sniper, Cooper continues to balance well-paid commercial films with riskier independent features.

6) Tom Cruise, $40 million: The latest Mission Impossible and the Edge of Tomorrow helped the controversial Scientologist earn more than all of the highest paid female stars, bar Jennifer Lawrence.
7) Amitabh Bachchan, $33.5 million: This year’s list includes global earnings which sees Bollywood star Bachchan make the top ten. He is often referred to as the biggest movie star in the world and at 72 he shows little sign of slowing down.
7) Salman Khan, $33.5 million: Fellow Bollywood star Khan, who starred in Jai Ho, also made the top ten with earnings of $33.5 million.
9) Ashkay Kumar, $32.5 million: Having appeared in 150 movies since 1992, Kumar is one of the busier stars on the list as he makes four films a year. He also hosted Indian reality show Dare 2 Dance and has numerous endorsement deals.
10) Mark Wahlberg, $32 million: Ted 2, The Gambler and Transformers: Age of Extinction helped Wahlberg earn $32 million.
